Kenix Chua is the founder of Begins Acoustic (M) Sdn Bhd, a Malaysian company specializing in acoustic treatment and soundproofing solutions. Her journey into acoustics began during her studies in audio engineering at the Ocean Institute Audio Technology (OIAT).

Her research areas include New Media Design, Visual Communication, Educational Technology, Film and Media, and Digital Heritage. Currently, she is the Deputy Dean of Research, Innovation and Community-Industry Engagement at the School of the Arts, USM.
Allen is a lawyer by training and an environmentalist by accident. A Penang boy through and through, Allen is proud to have played a part in the creation and development of The Habitat Penang Hill and subsequently, The Habitat Group, as its founding Managing Director.
